Elizabeth Bull Sims
A native of Lancaster County, PA, Elizabeth Sims received a BA in
English from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN and a JD from
the T.C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, VA, where she was also
an editor of the University of Richmond Law Review.
After moving to Birmingham with her husband in 2000, Ms. Sims sat
for, and was admitted to, the Alabama State Bar while volunteering
for the Region 2020 Woodlawn Affordable Housing Initiative. Soon after,
she was hired as Program Coordinator for the Woodlawn program. Ms. Sims is now the Associate Director and coordinates Region 2020's current initiatives. Ms. Sims serves on the board of Catalyst for Birmingham, is a member ofthe Birmingham Chapter of Alabama Citizens for Constitutional
Reform, and is a graduate of the Birmingham Pledge
Foundation’s Study Circles program. She is the proud mother of Charlotte Dorothy Sims.
